The key to a successful refinishing process is the proper preparation of all surfaces to allow maximum adhesion of the primer system.  The acrylic urethane paints and adhesive coatings we use are the most thoroughly tested industry coatings available.

The Process

• We use a two step cleaning process for porcelain/ceramic surfaces. 

Step 1 cleaner removes all soap scum, stains, and hard water deposits. 
Step 2 removes trace acids and other cleaner’s residues.  This leaves the surface with a neutral ph.

For fiberglass/acrylic surfaces we use a slightly different cleaning/preparation technique to ensure proper adhesion.

• The next step is to repair any chips or pits on the surface of the tub.
• We then apply an acid etch to the porcelain/ceramic surface.  This maximizes the primers ability to permanently bond to the surface. 
• Once the surface has been thoroughly prepared, we then apply our high quality epoxy adhesive primer system.  Our primer offers the maximum adhesion to a variety of substrates. 
• We then apply our topcoat acrylic urethane.  This has superior impact resistance, high gloss, and chemical/water resistance.

Our refinishing process offers the most durable and long lasting product on the market.  We offer a 5 year warranty for our residential customers.
